Veterinary Nurse
Amy grew up surrounded by pets of every kind – dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, fish, lizards, horses and more! There’s no doubt where her passion for animals started and so her journey into working with animals began.
Whilst Amy was studying for her Animal Studies Cert III she came to work at The Village Vet early 2023 for her college placement. We are delighted Amy has chosen to continue working with us at The Village Vet and is now studying her Veterinary Nursing Cert IV at The Australian College of Veterinary Nursing (ACVN).
Exotic animals and surgery are areas of particular interest to Amy, both of which she hopes to learn more about in years to come.
She currently lives with Bella her border collie; Lily and Yoshi, two Siamese siblings; Lexie her Bengal; and Grey (AKA Kitty) her Russian blue x British shorthair rescue. Travelling, spending time with friends and animals and going to the beach keep Amy busy when not studying or working.
