The amazing Dr. Belle has saved our cat’s life. We actually got turned away from a different vet because we were late to our appointment (we were late… but it was also work traffic) and she was close to death. We waited a day and luckily brought Ulla to see Dr. Belle who immediately understood the severity of the situation and pushed for her admission to hospital. Since then she’s been with us every step of Ulla’s recovery. And it was clear by then that Ulla has been better treated and more cared for than I’ve ever been. The team at Killara Vet are superb. Having been a regular at thier Pymble practice, having their expanding location available to us in Killara is excellent. Martina and the team are so professional with all the big and small things when it comes to looking after and protecting our boys 🐶🐶. They are also down to earth and practical when it comes to all the advice needed for the regular homecare needs that come with owning pets.
I recommend heading to see the team when next you need to have your pet checked up. You, and they especially, won’t look anywhere else after it. Ours boys can’t wait to see the team when I pull into the carpark out the front of the Killara Vet Practice.

I have been going to this vet for 6 years, and they have really looked after my very active boxer who has managed to injure herself on numerous occasions. They are very loving with the animals as well as providing excellent care and knowing when to get specialists involved for the best result for your pet. I recently took my 7-month-old poodle to The Village Vet for desexing surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, carefully explaining the procedure and options beforehand, answering all our questions, and putting our minds at ease.
On the day of the surgery, they kept us updated with calls, letting us know how everything was going. They also followed up the next day to check on our puppy’s recovery and provided helpful advice.
Our puppy recovered quickly, and one of the best parts was their recommendation of a post-surgery suit instead of the traditional Elizabethan collar. Since our pup was in between sizes for the collar—too small for one, too big for another—it kept slipping off or didn’t provide enough protection. The surgery suit, with its cross-back belts, worked perfectly! It kept her wound protected while still allowing her to move comfortably and go to the toilet as usual.
Such a great experience overall—caring staff, excellent communication, and great post-surgery care. Highly recommend The Village Vet!

We take our two cats and our dog to both the Killara and West Pymble locations. Our two cats have just spent almost 5 weeks in the boarding Kennels at Killara and have been so well taken care of. We get regular updates and photos to let us know how they are doing. Our dog can be reactive and so a vet visit needs to be planned well. The staff are very understanding and help in every and any way possible to make his visits positive ones.

We joined W Pymble veterinary practice twelve years ago when we first acquired our Cavoodle, Dexter, and have been very happy with the care he has received in that time. There have been a few health concerns along the way, one in which we feared we might lose our beloved boy, he was so sick.
