Roseville Vet Care Built on Expertise Trust and Genuine Connection
Experience the Village Vet Difference
At The Village Vet, we’re a proudly independent, locally owned clinic that puts your pet’s health first. We’ve been caring for Roseville pets and their families for years, providing trusted, high-quality vet care from our East Killara (just a 5-minute drive from Roseville) and West Pymble clinics. We also offer Roseville mobile vet services for our patients.
Because we’re not a corporate clinic, we focus on what really matters: your pet’s well-being, not sales targets. We take the time to build real relationships with both you and your pet, so your care is always personalised, consistent, and genuinely thoughtful. Our experienced team provides honest advice and tailored care to suit your pet’s needs and your budget, ensuring the best possible outcome without unnecessary treatments.
Understanding the Health Needs of Roseville Pets
Roseville is known for its leafy streets and easy access to the surrounding bushland. Many local pets enjoy walks through Echo Point Park, time near Roseville Bridge, or backyard adventures at home. While this lifestyle is wonderful for pets, it can also increase exposure to paralysis ticks, seasonal allergies, skin conditions, and grass-related issues.
Having cared for North Shore pets for over 15 years, our team understands the local health challenges Roseville pets face. We don’t just treat problems as they arise. We focus on proactive, preventative care and long-term health planning, building strong relationships with pet owners so we can support pets at every life stage. This helps keep pets comfortable, healthy, and thriving year-round.
As a Fear Free and Calm Clinic–certified practice, we’re especially mindful of how care is delivered, using gentle handling and low-stress techniques that make a real difference for anxious pets, cats, and senior animals.
At The Village Vet, we treat you and your pets like family! Get 20% off your first vet.

What Roseville Pet Owners Are Saying
Gladys Wilkins
Martine and the team at Pymble Vet have been our local vet for about 15 years. They are the most loving and friendly team who honestly just adore every pet or injured wild animal that passes through their doors. Our beautiful Burmese cat, Mika loved all the girls and they all loved her back in return and cared for her like she was their own.
Over the years we have utilised their general and preventative health care, emergency care, cat boarding, at home services while we were away as well as end-of-life care for Mika, who we lost in July this year. Martine and the team were just amazing when it came to end-of-life care. They shared in our pain, were compassionate every step of the way and understood just how difficult it was to say goodbye to our girl. Gratefully, they took care of everything after she passed away.
We have two new Burmese kittens and they’ve just had their first visit to see Martine (and Taryn!). This first visit was so easy, we always trust in Martine’s advice, she’s such a wealth of knowledge and know our new girls, Mila and Luna will receive the best care.

Such a fabulous Veterinary Clinic, I’ve met 5 of the Vets so far + 3 of the reception staff over the few weeks,( had a puppy spayed ,so multiple visits), very impressed how each take time to explain, and reassure all my concerns.

Thank you to the incredible team at The Village Vet Pymble.
Both of our dogs have visited several of the lovely vet staff over the years but I’d like to send an extra special thank you to Elle.
She has been absolutely incredible with her kind, thoughtful & expert approach to managing the needs of both of our dogs but in particular our gorgeous 15 1/2 year old Bonnie in recent times.
Going above & beyond one afternoon when she should’ve been going home meant the world to us & I believe gave us more time with her.
I’d like to thank Elle for her genuine compassion for not only Bonnie but also our family. You definitely get to see us when we are most vulnerable & you managed it beautifully.
Your follow up after her passing & on-going advice for Max’s welfare is much appreciated.
Thank you again, we are truly grateful.

My dog Willow loves coming—and so do I! The whole team is so caring, and it really shows. I always feel like we’re in safe hands.

Martine and her team are just awesome to both myself and my fur babies. All issues were diagnosed and treated immediately. They are friendly from the time we step into the practice, organised, timely reminders to make sure my fur babies are healthy and well. Martine goes all out to check on results and calling after hours for reassurance. They are passionate in what they do. So glad my fur babies are in good hands. Thank you Team Martine.

I really appreciated how friendly the staff were and the lovely rapport between the vet, our cat, and us. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal.

We have been seeing Dr Martine and her team for over 10 years and would never go anywhere else. The wealth of knowledge the team has regarding diseases, diagnoses, treatment and treatment options, and prevention is second to none. The professionalism of the entire team, mixed with genuine care and affection for not only the patient but also the patient’s owners is present at every consultation. Knowing also that the latest medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment is on hand is very reassuring. Finally the monthly newsletter is a wealth of information and often a pertinent reminder of seasonal health issues such as tick season. If you are looking for a caring, highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable vet team look no further than The Village Vet.

We own an elderly sausage dog who has weekly visits to see the vets and vet nurses for fluids for his kidney failure and laser treatment for his back .
All the vets and nurses in both practices are outstanding with their care. knowledge and understanding and I have great trust in everyone to provide the right course of treatment for our little boy to make his life more comfortable
Bec Mitchell
Martine and her team are simply the best vets in Sydney. From their level of care and empathy to their knowledge and application of that knowledge. There is simply not another vet I would take my animal to. My heartfelt thanks to you all. Bec and Louis.

Frequently Asked Questions About Vets in Roseville
Yes. Many Roseville families come to us when they’re looking for a vet they can build a relationship with, not just visit occasionally. We focus on continuity of care, clear communication and thoughtful planning, so your pet’s care evolves properly over time.
Roseville pets are more exposed to paralysis ticks, grass seeds, skin allergies and seasonal flare-ups. We provide practical prevention advice tailored to local conditions, rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations.
We’re a Fear Free and Calm Clinic–certified practice, which means we actively reduce stress through gentle handling, quieter spaces and flexible appointment pacing. This is especially helpful for cats, anxious dogs and senior pets.
Where possible, yes. We prioritise continuity so your pet is seen by vets who already know their history, personality and needs. This helps build trust and leads to better long-term outcomes.
