The Village Vet staff regularly undergo continuous professional development training.  This applies to staff in all job types from senior veterinarians to customer care staff.

However, when it comes to irregular or unusual problems, we are privileged to collaborate with an excellent team of external specialists.  Whenever necessary, we will call them or refer to them for assistance on our patients, thus providing optimum care to your pet at all times.

All external specialists we work with are highly respected veterinarians within their area of medical interest.  They work closely with us to complement our team and our team have the utmost respect for their specialist skill sets.  Treatment by a specialist may occur on our premises or we may refer your pet to them for one-off treatment.

Follow Up Treatment

Whether your pet has been treated by our own staff or our specialist, we are with you throughout.  We operate a seamless transition and The Village Vet staff implement the specialist’s ongoing recovery recommendations and follow up monitoring with you directly.
