Veterinary Nurse
Greta is a Vet Nurse who has been part of The Village Vet team for four years. They began at the clinic as a trainee vet nurse and continued on after graduating with their Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Greta also completed their Animal Attendant Certificate placement on a farm, providing a broad understanding in animal care and has undertaken the AVNAT Think Anaesthetic Monitoring Program, rendering a strong foundation in clinical monitoring.
Greta has a strong focus on patient care, with particular interest in minimising stress and supporting patient comfort throughout their visit. They take a calm, patient and methodical approach to handling and nursing care, with the aim of providing a safe space and positive clinical experience for both patients and their owners. Greta is closely involved in the coordination and day-to-day running of the mobile vet clinic, supporting patient care and clinical operations in an in-home setting.
Outside of work, Greta enjoys spending time with their dog Alfred, who has a soft spot for his toys and dog gelato. As well as caring for their fish, and unwinding through music, crafting, cooking and adding to their ever-growing plant collection.
