Your Trusted Turramurra Vet
Expert veterinary care for Turramurra pets, built on genuine relationships
At The Village Vet, we love caring for the pets of Turramurra. It’s a community with which we feel genuinely connected, and one we’ve proudly supported for many years. With our nearby clinics in West Pymble and East Killara, we’ve become a trusted veterinary practice for many Turramurra families, welcoming them through our doors and providing personalised veterinary care tailored to each pet, family, and budget.
As a locally owned, family-run practice, we’re not driven by corporate targets or sales agendas. Every recommendation we make is guided by what’s right for your pet, with honesty, compassion, and clear communication at every step. We take the time to build lasting relationships, so your pet sees familiar faces who understand their history, temperament, and long-term health needs. Not just a random vet each visit.
To us, great veterinary care isn’t transactional. It’s a partnership built on trust and relationships that supports your pet through every life stage.
Proudly Supporting the Turramurra Community
Our connection to Turramurra goes beyond veterinary care. We’re proud supporters of the local community, including 2nd Turramurra Scouts and Ku-ring-gai Little Athletics. Our owner, Dr Martine Perkins, is a local herself and often walks her dogs through Sheldon Forest, enjoying the peaceful trails and bushy charm that make this suburb so special.
Being part of this community means a great deal to us, and it shapes the way we care for both pets and their people. Spending time in the same parks, bush tracks, and neighbourhoods as our clients gives us genuine insight into the environment local pets live in. From tick exposure and wildlife encounters to common allergy triggers and seasonal risks. That local understanding allows us to provide advice that’s not just clinically sound, but truly tailored to Turramurra pets.
What truly sets The Village Vet apart is the combination of deep local knowledge, experienced clinicians, and a genuine commitment to personalised care. We take the time to listen, explain options clearly, and create tailored treatment plans that suit both your pet’s needs and your family’s circumstances. Alongside our Fear Free and Calm Clinic–certified approach, this means pets receive high-quality medical care in an environment designed to reduce stress and build trust over time.

Have been going here for well over 10 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur children. Friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable.
Bec Mitchell
Martine and her team are simply the best vets in Sydney. From their level of care and empathy to their knowledge and application of that knowledge. There is simply not another vet I would take my animal to. My heartfelt thanks to you all. Bec and Louis.

Had the best possible experience, the Vet resolved problems I wasn’t able to fix from going to several other vets. We tried food elimination all sorts of medication & had no luck. One visit to Killara & my pup has been the happiest he’s ever been! No more complications.

The team at Killara Vet are superb. Having been a regular at thier Pymble practice, having their expanding location available to us in Killara is excellent. Martina and the team are so professional with all the big and small things when it comes to looking after and protecting our boys 🐶🐶. They are also down to earth and practical when it comes to all the advice needed for the regular homecare needs that come with owning pets.
I recommend heading to see the team when next you need to have your pet checked up. You, and they especially, won’t look anywhere else after it. Ours boys can’t wait to see the team when I pull into the carpark out the front of the Killara Vet Practice.

The team at Pymble Vet were so amazing, in particular, Dr Elle who basically saved my puppy Lucy. Lucy was acting really unwell and Dr Elle knew right away what the problem was. She was so knowledgeable and explained the process really well. Definitely recommend Dr Elle!

We take our two cats and our dog to both the Killara and West Pymble locations. Our two cats have just spent almost 5 weeks in the boarding Kennels at Killara and have been so well taken care of. We get regular updates and photos to let us know how they are doing. Our dog can be reactive and so a vet visit needs to be planned well. The staff are very understanding and help in every and any way possible to make his visits positive ones.
Highly recommend the village vet

Love the feeling of joining an extended family who remembers your name, your pet’s name and cares. Such a friendly local practice and vibe.

My little boy has recently been unwell and diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. From initial diagnostics to follow ups and subsequent issues from the medication the team at The Village Vet have been outstanding!
Their level of professionalism, knowledge, empathy and care towards their little patients is comforting as you know their hearts are where they need to be. I have booked my kitty in for the radioactive iodine (I-131) treatment with their guidance.
I wanted to extend a big thank you to the entire team for how well we have been looked after over the last few weeks. A special whisker and wet nose kiss to Giné, Belle, Elle and Taryn from Presley xx
